The International Medical Graduate (IMG) Program at NYREACH, in collaboration with Essen Health Care, is a structured clinical and community-focused experience designed to support IMGs as they transition into the U.S. healthcare system. The program combines hands-on exposure, academic enrichment, and mentorship within a diverse, high-volume clinical environment in the Bronx, New York.
The IMG Program is open to international medical graduates/medical students seeking U.S. clinical exposure, observership opportunities, community health experience, academic enrichment, and professional development in preparation for residency or U.S. clinical roles.
Structured clinical exposure across select specialties.
Engage in food distribution, health education, and social care navigation through NYREACH initiatives.
Sessions focused on U.S. clinical workflows, expectations, and guideline-driven management.
Application and interview preparation for U.S. clinical training.
